| This special issue of the journal introduces our ongoing and completed projects around the world, focusing on six countries: Taiwan, Spain, USA, Chile, Singapore and Japan. By means of plentiful drawings, photographs of building sites and meeting progresses, as well as essays written by our staff, the readers would get a glimpse of our experiences, challenges and struggles we face in each specific location. The volume concludes with a discussion between Ito and his staff, moderated by Mr. Hironori Matsubara who had worked for our office and is currently active mainly in China. During the conversation the issue of how architecture ought to be realized in a market driven economical society. |
